Sumit started his career in hospitality as a bartender, since expanding his repertoire with experience working at several world-renowned hotels. He has an entrepreneurial outlook and is happy to see the industry grow in confidence after the pandemic.
He’s currently Brand Ambassador for Mathieu Teisseire in the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh regions of India. His home base, Bhopal, is known as one of the greenest cities in India, and perhaps that accounts for the enthusiasm he has seen in the region for Mathieu Teisseire’s floral flavour syrups, such as Hibiscus and Lavender. These unique flavours are fuelling a boom in creativity in the industry that he loves being a part of.
The best advice Sumit has received in his career is to always think outside the box, because new opportunities are always just outside your comfort zone.
