FLAVOUR ORIGINS
The Lychee is a tropical tree native to Southern China, where the first documented evidence of cultivation dates to the 11th century. The trees bear small fruits of the same name, with a rough, textured pink skin that contains a white perfumed flesh that was considered a delicacy of the Chinese Imperial Court.
Lychees are similar in texture to grapes but with a uniquely aromatic fragrance and flavour. They're often enjoyed raw or tinned, and are popularly used to add flavour to dishes and desserts across the Asian continent.
Mathieu Teisseire Lychee Syrup expertly captures the unique flavour of this cherished fruit. With its floral aroma and delicate fruity taste, this syrup is the perfect addition to lemonades, sodas, cocktails, mocktails, teas, milkshakes and smoothies.
