FLAVOUR ORIGINS

The true origin of white chocolate is not clear, but it’s believed to have been accidentally created by Nestle in the 1930s when manufacturing a dietary supplement for children and adults. Typically made of sugar, milk and cocoa butter, white chocolate doesn’t have cocoa solids, which is why it’s pale ivory in colour. Although it doesn’t contain any cocoa solids, it does contain cocoa butter which also comes from the cocoa bean. Today, flavourings such as vanilla are added to white chocolate to enhance the flavour profile. Mathieu Teisseire White Chocolate is perfect for creamy cocktails, especially those that are Martini based as well as indulgent hot chocolates and milkshakes.
